Exploration Groups

These are groups that meet with the aim of finding solutions to a Concern affecting our Glastonbury community locally and also at the wider level.

Groups are likely to meet in person once a fortnight at a regular time and place or could meet more or less frequently. If it’s a small group, it may be possible to meet in someone’s home, or otherwise at a cafe, pub or a hired venue.

Each group will have an initial coordinator and ideally a deputy coordinator who will for at least the first month, collect members’ contact details and arrange the initial meeting.

For more support on what it means to join an Exploration Group or to be a Coordinator, see our Exploration Groups Guidance.

Ideally, Exploration Group members will meet in person. However, it may also work for some people to join by Zoom or you support your group in another way e.g. by doing research if you are unable to attend meetings.

There will be space for Exploration Groups to give brief progress updates during our Public Events.
