First PoG Public Event on 8 March 2026

Following the results of our Concerns Survey, the main focus of our first meeting was the proposal by Glastonbury Town Council to consider making Glastonbury a World Heritage Site.

This event was recorded in two parts. Unfortunately, the camera battery ran out half way through the second part, so images have been added to the separate sound recording.

Find out more about what followed by visiting our World Heritage Status page.

PEOPLE OF GLASTONBURY EVENTS

"Dear organisers of yesterday’s event. (Our second public event)

I wanted to extend my gratitude to you for holding such a powerful space

It is rare to attend an event that gives space to so many different voices with such care and consideration - it felt very powerful

I would love to be connected to ongoing conversations ( I joined two of the lists but would like to know about all of them!)"
